UPDATE - ARE Preparation Seminar: Structural Systems with Professor David Thaddeus (3 day seminar)
Professor David Thaddeus is coming to Vancouver to present his three-day intensive Structural Systems seminar on August 12-14, 2011 at the AIBC offices
Please note that this seminar has been confirmed and will be moving forward on the dates above. Registration space is still available and registration will remain open until the date of the course, to encourage more participation.
This seminar has run for four years in Vancouver with great success. Below is a quote from an intern who has attended in the past:
'Thaddeus' structures course is the absolute best way to tacke studying for the Structure ARE. In three days, I learned more about structures than during my entire master's degree. Tips, tricks, supplementary study resources, etc. Thaddeus is entertaining too. Dare I say that he makes structural engineering fun?' - David Zeibin, IA (took the Thaddeus course in 2009)
The Structural Systems seminar offers three full days of workshops, mock examinations, and questions & answers that will focus on preparing Intern Architects for the Structural Systems division of ARE 4.0. these workshops present techniques, strategies and skills that are invaluable to any IA preparing for this exam. Professor Thaddeus is Associate Professor of Structures and Architectural Design at the College of Architecture University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He teaches his ARE review course across North America, and has brought his seminar to Vancouver for the past four years. Each has proved to be invaluable to those who attended.
